Jev in production › Agent context and memory
Jev gates MCP tool output and codex commands in a coding agent pipeline, cutting agent time by 38% on Claude Code versus baseline. (yctimlin)

Reduce large MCP responses in Claude Code. Skip routine Codex decision turns with reviewed operations and verified execution.
JevScout is an open-source toolkit that uses TypeSafe's Jev to reduce time and agent overhead in two workflows:
- Claude Code MCP context management: a PostToolUse hook semantically ranks large Model Context Protocol (MCP) responses, keeps relevant source text verbatim, and provides exact local recovery. If Jev is unavailable or uncertain, the original response passes through unchanged. - Codex operation execution: a library for applications that drive Codex app-server sessions maps requests to reviewed, fixed repository operations. Host code authorizes, executes, and verifies the operation, then records the result in...
