The README opens with

Route Pi turns through models you choose. Pi-Bifrost is a model-routing extension for Pi. You put models in named tiers and choose how each tier selects a model. Bifrost resolves a tier for each turn, skips models with open reliability circuits, and sends the turn to a configured model. No proxy, hidden model pool, or automatic prompt replay.

The model above is an example, not a shipped default. Your configuration supplies the actual provider and model IDs. A classifier can suggest a tier, but it cannot choose a model outside your pool.
