The README opens with

Switchyard is a macOS menu-bar app that opens every link in the right browser profile: work links in your work profile, personal links in your personal one. It works with Dia, Chrome and Firefox, and should work with Brave, Edge and Vivaldi.

Most links are routed by rules on your Mac, instantly and without going online. When a link matches no rule, Switchyard asks Jev, a fast AI model from TypeSafe. Instead of writing text, Jev picks one answer from a fixed list and says how sure it is. You write a sentence about what each profile is for, and for a link like app.shortcut.com/acme/story/12 Jev answers something like "Work, 92% sure" in a fraction of a second. Sure answers usually become rules, so the same kind of link doesn't need to ask again....
